Overview

Access Glara's analytics from your AI assistant using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

The Glara MCP server lets AI clients (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, …) work with your Glara data directly: check AI visibility, see citations and competitors, explore products, and more — all with your own Glara login. Your access matches the Glara app exactly: the same brands, the same permissions.

Quickstart

Follow the steps below to connect.

Server URL: https://api.glara.ai/mcp

Quick start: Add the server → log in to Glara → start using tools. No API key needed.

Claude Code — run in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http glara <https://api.glara.ai/mcp>

Then in a Claude session: /mcp → Authenticate → log in → Approve. (To remove: claude mcp remove glara.)

Claude app — Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → Connect → log in → Approve.

Cursor / VS Code / ChatGPT — add a custom/remote MCP server with the same URL; you'll be prompted to log in to Glara.

What you can do

• Track AI search performance — your visibility over time and vs competitors, who cites you, per-prompt and per-keyword visibility, brand sentiment, and platform breakdowns (OpenAI vs Gemini, …).
• Explore products — top products, single-product deep dives, and what's in your optimization focus.
• Check your setup — integration status, optimization status, and in-app navigation help.
• Apply and revert optimizations — approve pending SEO tasks (descriptions, JSON-LD, meta tags) and revert applied ones to your connected Shopify store. Call getOptimizationStatus first; applyOptimizationsTool / revertOptimizationsTool dry-run by default and only execute when confirm: true. FAQ/recommendation-only tasks are skipped.
